AMS Power Upgrade Event Sep 25, 08:00-10:00 EDT
On Tuesday, September 25th, beginning at 08:00am EDT, we will migrate some power infrastructure in our AMS1 (Amsterdam) datacenter to new power feeds. This work is being done to facilitate further expansion.

Servers should not lose power during this (2) hour window, though we have established a larger event window to allow for any additional work needed to restore services in the event of an issue.

Resolved - We have just resolved two separate incidents in the Amsterdam market, occurring at approximately the same time: we were experiencing a large scale DDoS attack in progress, and additionally an outage occurring on one of our trans-Atlantic backbone circuits connecting AMS1 to other Packet datacenter locations.

Normal connectivity has been restored.
